This is a brief summary of the situation on 20 May, reflecting a major decrease in the country’s normal long-distance train services.

Most operators do not offer any form of catering.  Do check.

The websites of the five domestic long-distance train operators are all helpful, with journey planners and usually a downloadable timetable.

Few give a summary of the service they are running, but most reiterate government advice on not travelling.

Some give the date they were last updated – helpful!
