British Airways will resume flights between Heathrow and Phoenix Sky Harbor International airport today.

The route – which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year – is resuming after an 18-month suspension due to Covid-19, with a three-times-weekly service.

Flights will depart Heathrow at 14:15, landing into Phoenix at 17:05, with the return leg leaving the US city at 19:15 and arriving back into London at 13:15 the following day (all times local).

They will be operated by a three-class B777-200 configured with 48 seats in Club World, 40 in World Traveller Plus, and 184 in Economy.

The resumption of flights to Phoenix follows BA’s recent announcement of plans to increase services between the US and Heathrow this month, following the decision by the UK Government to remove quarantine requirements for fully vaccinated travellers arriving from the EU and US.

Additional flights are being added from New York JFK, Los Angeles, Chicago and Seattle.
