After something of a false start last year The Biltmore Mayfair has reopened.

Previously the Millennium Grosvenor Square, it was launched after an extensive makeover in April 2020 only to be overtaken by the Covid-19 pandemic.  Europe’s first LXR Hotels & Resorts property and a luxury Hilton brand, the 307-room hotel is located opposite the delightful public gardens of Grosvenor Square and is clearly marketed towards Americans visiting Europe.

Grosvenor Square was long a centre of American presence in London beginning when John Adams established the first American mission to the Court of St James's in 1785. Adams lived, from 1785 to 1788, in the house which still stands on the corner of Brook and Duke Streets.  The US Embassy was located in the square for many years and statues of American Presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt, Dwight Eisenhower and Ronnie Reagan stand proudly.

The Café Biltmore features a menu by Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton, the cocktail list offering tempting beverages alongside the food menu with drinks such as ‘The Biltmore Spritz’, an ode to English summer gardens.

The Biltmore Mayfair prides itself on being a family-friendly hotel and delights in making sure every family member feels welcome. Children have their own special menu at the restaurants and even get their very own turndown service complete with freshly baked cookies, babycinos and a selection of storybooks.
