Sunday morning (10:00) has been chosen by Travel.Radio for a timely, new programme called “Your Travel Questions”, offering travel tips and advice from travel experts Simon Calder of The Independent and Paul Charles, who runs his own PC agency and has in the past looked after the public relations of Eurostar and Virgin Atlantic.

The first programme could not have been more topical with Grant Shapps press conference last Friday under scrutiny and listeners queries flowing in. It became obvious that whilst Mr Calder has as good a grip as anyone on the regulations even he can be caught out with the minute detail of the government-written statements, some of which are plain confusing.

Paul Charles commented: “We’ll be doing our best to decipher government signals as well as interpret government announcements so that consumers can plan their business and leisure trips with more certainty in 2021.”

Simon Calder added: “I’m delighted to team up with Paul to offer top tips and advice so that consumers can be more reassured about summer travel. Your Travel Questions will enable us to flesh out some of the details of travel which can often be missed out in the news and also track how travel is restarting around the world as we see light at the end of the Covid tunnel.”
