The World Aviation Festival (WAF) goes ahead next Monday (via Zoom) and lasts all week.

A very distinguished list of 50 speakers has been lined up including Willie Walsh, director general, IATA; Ben Smith, chief executive officer, Air France/KLM; Tim Clark, president, Emirates, Anna Mascolo, president, Shell Aviation; Joanna Geraghty, president and chief operating officer, jetBlue Airways.

Whilst Covid-19 is causing havoc with the air travel industry it has brought forward the use of Zoom in attracting to WAF many speakers for whom a London visit was just too time consuming.

Crucial areas covered during the week will include biosecurity and contactless journey, automation, sustainability, workforce management, data, payments and collaboration.

The programme website goes live Wednesday 14 April and BTN readers are asked to sign up.  There is no charge for the Content Only Pass.
