London rail users can now benefit from a fine new app that clicks to the individual stations and gives live train departure times.

Users can then check the ongoing schedule, and if they want to know the arrival time, typically Gatwick, that is just another click away.  As with all these new innovations it is not perfect and opens with an overall view of the main system.  Users need to use a zooming facility on the top of the home page to view all the individual stations.

Luton Airport customers using the map will be pleased to learn that from the May timetable East Midlands Railway (EMR) is to introduce a new half hourly non-stop service between London St Pancras and Luton Airport Parkway taking just 25min.  When the new Direct Air-Rail Transit (DART) link from the station to the Luton terminal opens in early 2022 travellers will be able to reach the airport from the Kings Cross area in less than 45min.

The EMR service starts at Corby and stops at a number of intermediate stations before reaching Luton Parkway.
