Johnathan Hinkles, CEO of Loganair, is guest of honour at an Aviation Club Zoom lunch on Wednesday (17 February).

Loganair is based at Glasgow Airport.  Whilst serving the Scottish islands to the far north of the United Kingdom it has in recent times introduced routes as far south as Southampton picking up services previously operated by Flybe and working in partnership with Channel Islands carrier Blue Islands.

Hinkles has told BTN that he might have some exciting news from what is now Britain’s largest regional carrier with a 43-strong aircraft fleet.

The timing could not be better with Loganair about to add Teesside as a Heathrow route, with Isle of Man services already established.

There is the possibility of more slots becoming available at Heathrow (BTN reports in this issue) with the airport CEO, John Holland-Kaye, highlighting Newquay Airport.  Loganair is expected to fly to Cornwall this summer.

The Aviation Club is not limiting Zoom attendance just to members.
