Following confirmation that Eurostar is not going to stop at Ashford and Ebbsfleet stations in Kent ‘in the immediate future’ the popular family trips direct to the Paris Disneyland are to be culled from 23 June 2023 with no resumption date mentioned.
See BTN 29 August Kent loses Eurostar.

In a statement Eurostar say that it is possible to travel to the resort via Lille and Paris but clearly rail company management have not had the experience of travelling with young children to these complex places.  The Eurostar services via Paris to the south of France are also suspended with no re-start date in prospect.

London-based travel agents said that the loss of the service will be a big disappointment for families. "Disneyland Paris is obviously a family favourite and it really is a blow for family holidays in particular”, said Charlie Panton from Putney Travel.

“We always encourage our customers to travel by train and we really hope Eurostar changes its mind by next year".

Diane Coleman from Tickets Travel in Bexley said the lack of a direct rail route will be off-putting for young families in particular as it complicates travel to the theme park. "We’ve benefitted from the service personally with Ebbsfleet close by", she said.
