Readers are reminded that booking for the Boeing/Stan Deal Royal Automobile Club (RAC) lunch Thursday 16 June will close today week (Monday 13 June).

The event will follow the successful ‘fireside chat’ format first employed for the Delta/Ed Bastion event 15 March.  (See BTN 21 March.)

The timing of the London event could not be better with the IAG recent announcement of a major 737 order, and just a few days after the RAC lunch the airline industry converging on Doha for the International Air Transport Association Annual General Meeting (IATA AGM) where the question of airlines flying to Russia will be raised amongst other topical subjects.  

Deal, a long time Boeing staffer, was named in his current position in October 2019 and has not only had to handle both supply chain and delivery problems associated with the pandemic, but also the reintroduction of the MAX since that time.
